Ahhhh an at heart South Dakotan! I understand the economic reasoning.....

It's funny however, I look at it exactly the opposite. I cant believe the cost of living in other various parts of the country. Here in SD, you can buy an acreage / farm and 40 acres for around 100k. Pretty cheap livin in these parts.......although salaries are equally low. Guess it all depends on how you look at it!

Got her done.

Just for future reference......in case anyone ever does a search on this:

There was a single allen head screw holding the sensor inplace. By removing the intercooler hose, and positioning a 1/4" drive socket with 2-3 extensions, a wobbler, and a 5mm allen bit I was able to get the sensor R+R. Not too bad of a job all in all. Took about 2 hrs......could probably do it in 45 mins now. (The worst part was figuring out what size allen and working single handedly.

After you replaced it,

was it actually BAD or was corrosion part of your problem?

Where is a thread for the VALUES on these sensors?

The sensor just slides out. take a small screwdriver (after allen screw removal) and pop it lose then just slide it out it doesen't screw out. Good luck. :)
