Ahhhh an at heart South Dakotan! I understand the economic reasoning.....
It's funny however, I look at it exactly the opposite. I cant believe the cost of living in other various parts of the country. Here in SD, you can buy an acreage / farm and 40 acres for around 100k. Pretty cheap livin in these parts.......although salaries are equally low. Guess it all depends on how you look at it! |
Got her done.
Just for future reference......in case anyone ever does a search on this: There was a single allen head screw holding the sensor inplace. By removing the intercooler hose, and positioning a 1/4" drive socket with 2-3 extensions, a wobbler, and a 5mm allen bit I was able to get the sensor R+R. Not too bad of a job all in all. Took about 2 hrs......could probably do it in 45 mins now. (The worst part was figuring out what size allen and working single handedly. |
After you replaced it,
was it actually BAD or was corrosion part of your problem?
Where is a thread for the VALUES on these sensors? pc |
The sensor just slides out. take a small screwdriver (after allen screw removal) and pop it lose then just slide it out it doesen't screw out. Good luck. :)
