auto trans parts in pan?

Found a little cylinder and clip pieces. Just changing the filter & fluid after 25k. Was occasionally slipping into first. Especially after highway speeds over 75. It will slip then go ok into higher gears and tc lockup. Is it rebuild time or can these be replaced? 201k probably rebuilt once.

It is time for a tear down and replacement of the broken hard parts right now before you do further damage. Optional will be a rebuild and possible upgrade while you have it out.

Possible low roller clutch parts?

Mine didn't have any hard parts in the pan, just all the friction material and metal dust. It worked "okay", just slimmed from one gear to the next. 175K miles.
Sit down and think about what your plans are for the truck, power wise and usage. Then build your transmission around that.

Thanks all,
roller is .3" dia. .377" length. Coated Aluminum. Steel pieces seem to fit each other at break.
I adjusted the 1st gear band. Swapped out 3 gal aft+4. Ran it fast with no more issues.
Hopefully I can finish some side work before it goes then I can pull it. It runs 'ok'. Just sealed the fuel filter canister heater, again, last weekend. It was a basket case when I bought it 10yrs ago. Everything works now its just looking old.
