Thank you for your help. I reset the apps as you desribed and the truck never ran better.It
shifted better,idled around ran better.Unforunatly it did not last.At this point i am confident
that it is the apps.I have ordered a new one,and will install it when it arrives.What i do need
to know is what else i will have to do when i install the new one? With other vechiles you can
adjust by voltage using a meter.Not to sure what to do with apps. Again thank you for your
help.

 

Make sure you diconnect the batteries during install, lessen the chance of shorting and killing the new one.

After you're done, do the APPS reset procedure to teach computer the limits of the new one,
but I'm sure it will say that in the instructions that hopefully come with it.
