Any good mods to fix the oil blow by from putting it all over the front of my motor ?

I'm getting really tired of cleaning the oil from all over the front of my motor, and the undercarriage. Is there a mod to eliminate this problem ??

Please help. Thanks !!

By a longer piece of 3/4" heater hose and replace the stock vent hose. Snake it down by the oil pan. That's a simple fix. Just make sure that is won't get caught up in anything. Zip ties work well for securing it, but don't over-tighten them and restrict the hose.

$2.00 for hose and pvc strap did mine, just unscrew lid and pivot bottle down to empty 10 seconds with one hand. Put a sock over it to reduse oil vapors. Check my pics.

My quick and dirt method...

Check the signature...

o Won't freeze up
o No oil vapor in the cab
o Won't plug up with debris
o And works on steep grades (where some of the other here won't)

I agree with Mopar1973man - he's got the best looking and easiest fix to the puking bottle. As soon as time allows, I'm going to do the same thing he's done with his.

The extra length and elbows worry me,as well as the uphill angle. In a cold climate, I think it may freeze up. Sure looks like nice work though.

The system has never plugged yet... Can't freeze because of it close area to the engine. I've check the tip of the pipe down to -20*F and no problem! Still breathing good!

Uphill angle is not a problem. The oil is in the back of the crankcase and not even close to the vent!

I've heard several stories about the rubber hose down to the tranfer case and it freezing up. Total length is 4 Feet... 2 of it is on top of the engine. The PVC will not break down with engine oil like rubber hose which will kink and plug! The pipe is ran that was so if I go 4x4 in the woods getting firewood I don't spill a drop now! The open end of the pipe is way above the highier part of the engine on a steep downhill grades! It does have a drooling problem though...
