Antifreeze leak from head/Oil in rad

My '01 started leaking AF from the front of the head, just under the t-stat housing, definatly looks like its coming from the head gasket(nothing above that line) and there appears to be oil in the rad. I'm going to get VERY good at pulling heads. Is this a common place for the headgasket to leak? I don't suppose retorquing the head wouild fix it......

Number one cylinder is very common for gasket blows.

<sigh> Not gonna fool around, picking up a new gasket today and will install tommorrow. I just had the head off my '03 so atleast I have an idea how it goes.

Is the cylinder head bolt torque the same? 2 steps to 77ft/lbs and then 90* or is there an actual final torque spec?

These eng. are getting older, I would use new head bolts as maybe the stretch is gone ?
