99 doesn't stay running,maybe sucking air?

I start my truck, it runs for about 10 seconds and dies. I cracked injector 1,4, and 5 i believe, (easiest 3 to get to) and get it running after a while . I run the truck around for about an hour and park it. The next day i fire it up and runs for about 10 seconds and dies. I have 3/4 tank of fuel. It seems to me to be losing the prime overnight. When i bumpstart the key to run the pump for 30ish seconds I have a pressure reading on my edge of about 20 psi until it shuts off and then instantly to 1psi. Should my lines stay pressurized at 20 for a little bit longer or do i have a leak somewheres? My pump is a raptor 100 on the frame . I don't know if they have some sort of check valve built in. Or maybe the pressure runs through the v.p. and dissapates? I have no clue but there are no obvious signs of leaks in the fuel lines. i realize that air can get in without fuel getting out. any help or ideas would be appreciated.

update on situation: after having 2 feet of snow in my driveway melt, i finally got around to fixing my truck. When i pulled my lift pump off it naturally siphoned 15 gallons out of my tank and sucked it dry. The first 5 gallons seemed liked it was entirely water ( it even froze in the bucket overnight) but on the second 5 gallon bucket i noticed it turning more green color. So I put my new lift pump on and put new batteries in and cranked all the air out and she finally ran for the first time in months. I drove it around and had just a little more water in the filter so i drained a little more and it seems to be fine now. Has anybody ever had so much problems with water in the fuel?

Maybe you missed the water in fuel light? If it did not light up I'd definitely check that system, and for good measure I'd add a lubricant/corrosion inhibitor like TCW3 2-stroke oil to your diesel (1:800) until you have burned through several tanks of fuel.
