5speed, hard to down shift
My truck is a 2000 RAM 2500 4x4 24 valve.
Problem is the 5speed is hard to shift down,
you have to rev engine rpms while in neutral
before it will shift in to next lower gear.
Wondering what i can do to correct problem.

May be clutch time if it's real difficult. Check the fluid level. I always tap the go pedal a little bit when downshifting. It's easier to slide into gear.
