47RE Upgrade In Spokane Washington
I'm really starting to look into building up my 47RE so I can "drive" my truck. I looked at pricing from Vulcan, Source Auto, Goerend, ATS etc. I called a local shop just now "Ulrick's" and he priced a Single Disc and VB upgrade installed for about 2300.00 IF I go with Goerend I will pay 1720.00 for a triple disc and VB plus shipping with a 300.00 core on both leaving about 1120.00 (minus shipping and tax) on parts plus another 1000.00 or so in labor.
Has anyone in Eastern Washington found a great way to get an upgrade (without dealing with shipping parts and cores) or driving across the state to Seattle?
Any tips appreciated, I wish I could just order a fully built tranny but dont have the $$.

Call Bryan or Josh at Diesel Power Products, their in Spokane so you can save on shipping. He also has an installer in Hayden, ID. if needed. 866-379-8685, 509-844-2769

1. Be conservative and budget the upgrade, drive like I have been and "wait".
2. Order the parts, call the shop and make an appointment.
3. Put the Smarty on #9 Catcher, EZ on #3, find an old (vacant) stretch of smooth road and floor it just to see what happens (?) and have a tow truck # on my cell?
4. Do #3 above and have a real good excuse to tell my wife?
5. Keep "wishing".
Please advise.
BTW...were you at Diesel Thunder this year?

Thanks JJPage...next question: My 47RE is doing fine now, should I:

Yes, I was out at Shelly's all day, didn't make it to the drags. The dyno event was sure a good one, weather wise and turnout.
