Just tie them into the wiring for the light on your dash above the Abs /water in fuel warning lights that comes on when you open the door.

Are your red lights incandescent or LED's?

Connecting any additional incandescent loads to the dimmer circuit will probably cause the dimmer rheostat to overheat and destroy your headlight switch.

The courtesy/dome lights on our trucks use a switched ground by using either an isolated base lamp ie #1004 or a festoon base lamp where one terminal is always hot and the ground via door pin switch or dome position on your rheostat switches it on.

Using an LED would be easy, just connect the (+) to the battery and the (-) to the pin switches at the door, the wire is above the kick panel.

On the driver's door, one pin terminal is for the Halo light, use the other one.

You could also use the map light circuit, again the festoon base lamp has one terminal hot and the SPDT switch has one side grounded through the dome/rheostat switch and the other goes to the pin switch if I remember correctly when I replaced my entire map light to an LED.
