Ok,

More progress and more questions. Relay, cylinder 1 inch longish and 1/2 inch diameter. 3 prongs.

Not sure what the official name is for that but it stores power to keep the halo ring lit when you close the door. Usually taped onto the main wiring harness around the steering column.

Cows is correct. You normally see this with a piece of tape holding it to the harness.
