Anyone heard from him? Haven't heard from Mark in awhile. Hopefully he's just dowsed in coronas in Mexico, is all.

Hey Augie, it's nice to be missed 
. Reports of my arrest for breaking the bank at a Mexican cathouse are overblown and fake news!! (they were beating me for wearing out all the cats 
). I am unfortunately up to my ears in a repaint of the casa. It's not that simple because I live in a historical home and I have to repoint the brick and repair the stucco and various cracks before I can even think about putting on any paint. It has been raining like heck around here and this with the 105 degrees, 70 degree dew point and a hot dog, (hound dog that is) has not helped the progress too much. But don't worry, it's a dry humidity...Mark

Is this the same casa that you re did all the plumbing on?

Curious if you've had to repair any dry rot damage, leaky roofs, and what not. What about termites?

There is not too much dry rot, but the termites got to my red oak hardwood floors a bit, that repair is on the very long list of things to do. I had a foam, mesh and elastomeric roof installed in 2003 and I give it a new coat of elastomeric every 5 years, should last as long as I do. It is a continuous project...Mark

Yeah,it's the white stuff that cost more the longer it's made to last,like 5 years or 10 years. I am not sure about application on metal,ask them before you buy. It is easiest to put it on with a roofing brush than a roller.As long as the coating is intact on my roof, the foam under it should last for many years...Mark
