Where to get headliner material
My head liner is sagger then a baby’s wet diaper my cardboard is fine where can I just buy headliner material all I find is a hole headliner
|
Your local Joann fabric has it but it only last about 7 years. The glue they sell is crap too. You should be able to find a local headliner shop to do the job for just over a hundred with good glue and good fabric.
You can find headliner material at many online shops. If you have an old spray gun with a #2 nozzle or bigger, you can get contact cement and spray it. Use an air filter mask while spraying. Have a few beers ready when finished because the contact cement will get you high and beer helps the headache afterwards. |

Not perfect, but way better than before |
I have some of that headliner material at home but I wasn’t sure how long it needed to be how long was yours my truck is a single cab with a red interior
|
Mine is a single cab also.
I don't remember how much I got, but I measured and allowed a few inches extra all around. |
Headliner
When I got my truck about 4 years ago my headliner looked like a bomb went off in the cab. I searched youtube and found this guy. Sold the material and glue as a kit and has stayed put ever since. He has many different materials so take a look.

You can buy headliner material at auto parts stores like AutoZone, O'Reilly, or NAPA. Online stores like Amazon, eBay, or RockAuto also sell it.
If you want more options, check fabric stores or upholstery shops. They sell foam-backed headliner fabric in different colors. Make sure to get spray adhesive to attach the new fabric. 3M 77 or 3M 90 work well for this. Hope this helps! |
Thanks for the advice.
