Where to find cab supports?

I am redoing the rotted out floors in a truck and the supports are toast where the bolt comes up thru them. This is the support under the driver's/passenger's feet attached to the cab via spot welds. Its a 3 sided rectangular piece that the mount bolt threads into. Not the perch on the frame below.

I have searched with no finds yet. Thinking they don't exist but before I make my own, figgered I'd ask around.

That I'm aware of, noone makes that particular part of the cab, so you are left with your first choice to fab them up.
Or you could cut them from a clean used cab.

A 3rd choice would be to just replace the whole cab with a rustfree one, if you can find one.
In the long run, that would actually be the easiest, as opposed to cutting and repairing.

I've done both, and hands down, gutting and re-assembling is WAY easier than "cuttin' N' splicin' "

i know this doesn`t help much but if you can get ahold of" ziglers body shop" in LaPorte,IN(maybe google or something)the owner of the shop located that very part.I bought some parts from one of his guys and when we were there my dad noticed those pieces laying on the floor of one of the projects there. GOOD LUCK

See item #D-78 and D-79.

Take note that the above link is for 72-80 trucks....I have NO idea why they don't include them in the 81-93 section, as they should be the same pieces...

Their section on 81-93 trucks (page 112) lists "Comming soon, #D-8193 Front cab to frame mount". We can only hope!

Well after some more deconstruction it turns out the cab mounts are the least of my worries. Turns out it ate up the side of the kick panel and the inside of the rockers too. Looks like its time to source another cab.

The rest of the cab is great, no roof rot, the frame is clean its just that the dang thing was neglected, and the darn cowl cracks are what caused it. It rotted from inside out, not from salt damage, but due to the fairly useless sound/ heat insulation SPONGE they put under the floor matting. The truck survived 18 years on salted roads and simple rain and poor design are the detriments. Sooooo frustrated, I have done floors before but this one is toast.

off rant.
Thanks for the input guys. At least I have an excuse to go to the salvage yard.

It sucks to do all that teardown for repairs, just to find out that things, though they LOOK so good at first, have totally gone bad.
Scrapped a lot of stuff for that very reason.
Amazing what a carpet and a cover can hide, as well as a little putty and some paint.

Better get your aftermarket replacement parts while you can.

Problem is I don't really have the tools to create inner rockers, etc. And wow talk about cowl crackage! I will try to get some pics today. I knew the floor was toast, btdt, but when I peeled what was left of the skin I started seeing how bad the inside of the support was. From underneath the supports looked great.True inside out destruction. I should have tore it apart before I bought it as I didn't want to do another cab floor let alone another cab transplant.I don't think the seller would've liked that much. Sad part is I scrapped a cab last year figuring I wouldn't venture down this road again. Its tough to find a 4wd cab in good shape, and i don't feel like re-humping a 2wd, btdt too.I bought this truck to absorb some of the parts surplus i had and make room around the garage and keep a nice first gen in existence. now its punishing me. Oh well I want to getrdun soon and sell this one for the winter season. Fingers crossed. I was gonna do a nice pictorial on the re-floor.

Definitely worth re-cabbing with only 70k and a clean frame. Now the hard part is finding another cab that isn't toast in the rust belt. Now I also have a spare set of floor skins, which I will keep for emergency. I have basically another complete truck in spare parts stored for my other baby. I don't have collision on it, but I do have an insurance policy of sorts
