Where are the 255/85R16 tires?

Anything left to choose from that's cheaper than BFG or Toyo?

Not that I know of! I actually have a set of the toyo m55 in that size. I'm trying to sell them locally with my rims actually.

That's what I was afraid of Bugs me that I can get 285's so much cheaper, but they fit like a balloon on our stock steelies.

The 255 is an E rated tire though. I have the BFG's and my buddy runs the toyo's. I like them, but they are not a real working mans tire. Worse mileage, and wear out quicker... I guess I had to get my inner 16 year old out of me when I bought them!

Actually, both the 255 and 285 come in D and E.

I've had the Toyo MT on 2 different trucks. Great tire, but they wear too fast for my taste. I'm looking at the Toyo M55 in 255. But $289 each mounted and balanced is tough to swallow.

Think I might just swap my good tires from the 2wd to the 4wd for the winter.

the m55 is a great tire but it wears out quick in the warmer weather. They are made of a pretty soft rubber. Great for winters around here where you run them from Nov-Mar but any kind of warmth and they wear pretty quick.

Shipped to Canada is an entirely different story.

Good to know. I figured they would last better than the MT though... more tread and less void.

I've got a couple Nexans ordered for mine. I don't think it'll be too bad if I can move the newer ones forward and put new ones on back each year. I like the 235s just fine.

At work we have to put new tires on every year, pull a lot of goosenecks and need an aggressive tire. That's on four trucks.

Subliminal, I don't get the pie-cutter.
