As I was changing the power steering pump on my truck I must have broken a plug off. It's right behind the pump and goes into the block. Wish I had a pic but I don't. The outside broke off and now there's a plastic membrane in there and that's it

 

Oil pressure sensor sounds like. Shop manual instructs to remove that as part of the preliminary steps before removing vac pump or power steering pump

 

Easy part to find?

 

Best to buy a Cummins part......aftermarket has a spotty longevity record, but in a pinch, you should be able to find at any decent parts store.

 

Check with Geno's Garage at the top of the page. He caters to dodges of all generations and I believe he carries the sensor and maybe the sensor harness

 

Genos Garage has them and they are Cummins senders.
