What the heck!! Fuel problem ????

I'm having intermittent fuel draining out of the little hose on the back of my fuel pump.

It's a 1992.

I've noticed it before but it's only been a few drops dripping out.

Last night I smelled diesel cooking and popped the hood and it was out like crazy.

Today I ran it and nothing.

Anyone have a suggestion on what is going on???

I can post some pics if that will help.

Thanks in advance!!!!

What would help would be that you actually read the rules you just agreed to. We're "G" rated and family friendly. Cool?

Sure, your "G" rating is softer than mine.

It might be, we allow folks as young 13 to register and allot of our members have small kiddos as well. I appreciate your cooperation.

I'm going to move this over to the 1st gen section. You should get a little more traffic through it there.

A piece of dirt or an O-ring got loose and blocked off the tube? Reckon you're going to have to pull the pump.

Sounds like the o-ring on your fuel pin is leaking. Look in the stickies under "Engine, repairing a leaking fuel pin". Great write up! But it just might be time to reseal the whole pump also! Same problem I had, was very intermintent.

Thanks fella's.

I read the sticky also and have a friend who takes stuff like this apart like I'd rip up a paper napkin for fun.

I'll pay close attention while he does this and post what the little culprit was.

Thanks for your replies.
