Hahahaha...thing is I hate the heat, this extreme cold is only a minor discomfort for me, but temperatures in the +30*C range make me miserable and cranky as all heck. If I wasn't waiting on the drywall work in the shop I'd park Patches inside, but I have the tracks for the big roll up doors unhooked so no sneaking inside with anything that can't fit through the man door.

 

I just installed a wabasto on my 19 3500 ctd service truck and gonna do the same on ole selma (my 93) that should fix could starting problems

 

That is great advice. I bet you get tired of shoveling and plowing all that heat in the summer time.

 

I would rather climb a mountain in 117 degrees F. (I have) with clamps on my juevos (I haven't) than be anywhere that cold. My 155 pounds just doesn't have enough insulative properties in the old bod. Besides, my thyroid was destroyed by radiation, but it is stuck in the always cold position, which is perfect for where I live. I put on a sweater at 75 degrees F., no lie...Mark

 

I'm with you. My wife likes it cooler so the house is set at 70. I like it at 75 so I have to wear a sweater. I got up today and turned it up to 75 so I could get a shower then it's back down again. By the time the wife gets home from work it will be fine for her. Happy wife, Happy life.

We generally dump all the heat we shovel somewhere near the beaches to encourage the girls to wear skimpier bikinis......Ben

 

Even with all this cold we don't keep the house that warm, 60F when no is around or sleeping, and 65-66 for general home living and if the wife is super cold she might bump it to 68.

No one can argue with that logic!!

Unfortunately up here the more snow we get, the more clothes they wear and the more they eat. So even when it is "beach weather" for 1 day in July, its not a pretty sight.

 

Such a tragedy...We'll mourn for you here beginning in summer which starts about the first of March......Ben

 

Cut a hole in my really rusty bed so I could pull out the sending to fix it. It was pretty rusty too and hand a bunch of gunk stuck on the screen. So I knocked off most of the rust and fixed the sending unit. I'll get another piece of a bed to make a removable access panel.

Amen! here in Tucson I used to own a towing company, one day we had a call for private property removal of 4 vehicles the cops left behind when they raided an apartment for whatever reason... my 3 drivers convoyed over to the location which took the roll back truck #1 in convoy and the two wheel lift 1 tons right through the middle of the area surrounding the University of Arizona which happened to be swarming with co eds dressed for May in Southern az... the two smaller trucks rearended the roll back! I was so Pi$$ed had to go to the scene to investigate... pulled my Harley up behind the 3 trucks and forgot to put the kick stand down when I got off... the carnage that those up north are spared by not having to watch thousands of scantily clad women crossing the streets hither and yon must be why they stay up there...

 

That and the fewer neck injuries reported to insurance companies resulting from rear end collisions......Ben
