Good looking truck! Kind of familiar looking though ;-) Hoping to pick it up from the shop today. Head gasket blew after all the head/cam repair work recently. Cummins gasket, just a faulty one. At least the shop is covering it under warranty. :-D

OK, now I remember...That was in West Germany a few decades ago, but I wasn't inside eating venison...I recall being outside cranking wrenches on a McDonnell-Douglas F-4 trying to get a few of them in the air so the Rooskies wouldn't think we were all asleep......Ben

Ask your Dad if he found a pack of Lucky Strikes...I think I left then on top of the left engine splitter vane...

Thanks to Ollie on tips to replace my headlight SW. While I was in there, I Jim Lane-d my instrument cluster. Granted, I did not perform all his upgrades, I'm waiting on led bulbs. All for not having headlights... Go figure

Also,

I ripped apart my front brakes. What originally was, just to be a set of,rotors, pads, calipers and hoses has morphed into steel lines, wheel seals and repacking bearings. I wasn't going to repack the bearings, as I did it less than 20k ago, but the inner seals failure changed that.

Tomorrow continued

I have to redo my front bearings every year since I can't seem to find a seal that will last longer then that...granted my spindles are worn a bit so the hub rides a tad off set so I think that is what is actually killing them. But it does mean I have fresh grease in the hubs every year though...
