what can my truck handle???

my plans are to throw a set of twins on my dd 92 reg cab(truck in sig) what i want to make sure is that my truck will be able to handle the power and still be reliable. trucks is and will remain my DD. i came across an ht3b 75/83/23 turbo for cheap so that is what i was gonna use with my current turbo. let me know what you guys think open to any help thanks, id rather not learn these things the hard way...save me some money.

It depends how built your tranny is. If you're still running the Dana 70 rear end, that's next on your list to explode. You might start looking for a Dana 80. Other than that, it sounds like you should be good!!

already got the dana 80 in the rear...what about the intercooler? i blew a pretty good size crack in it with the single HTT wastegated at 45psi...welded it back up and it seems to be holding up pretty good.

Get a powerstroke IC, its been done alot and they have held up.

i got mine from a wreckers for 150. The PS IC will fit easier than the 2nd gen in a IC truck. The 2nd gens work well in the non-ic trucks.

Get the PS IC from a 99-02 I believe is the years. They don't have the plastic ends on them so they can handle more boost.

They are larger, 3.5''. You can get 3'' coolertubz with 3.5'' ends to fit mate with the ps IC below, just scroll to the bottom.

awesome thanks for the help. ill have to go see what i can find! even if i dont end up doing twins this sounds like a good idea lower some egts maybe get better mpg...doesnt see too expensive either

other thing i forgot to add is i have a tranny cooler mounted in front of the intercooler. how much bigger is the powerstroke i/c? think its gonna give me a problem?
