Whasup peeps - been a while...
Figured I'd drop in and say hey - been a while but I'm still alive. We got the RC good to go so now it's time for some 'wheelin trips.
I've been working on lots of projects and we have a customer truck in the shop now so most of my time has been going to that rig - really clean 77 P-Wagon. Anyways any questions please ask. Now that I'm in the ball park and I have a fresh cup of 'joe I should be able to respond in decent time [coffee] - Sam |
Cool

Max, did you ever get that 12cm housing on the RC? How does it do with the auto?
|
I'm an old member but it wasn't until this morning that I realized I hadn't posted in here before - I'm on too many sites :o and mostly been on RCC.
The 12cm housing on the RC is fantastic - love it, but it would retain a bit too much heat for a serious tow rig like the '93 is - it has a 14cm housing gated at 40 psi - and it's awesome. But here's a pic of the RC just before Moab last year... http://i393.photobucket.com/albums/p...8_09210016.jpg ...en route with the '93... http://i393.photobucket.com/albums/p...b08convoyg.jpg ...and during - it was such a blast - http://i393.photobucket.com/albums/p...estaircase.jpg http://i393.photobucket.com/albums/p...downmoab08.jpg http://i393.photobucket.com/albums/p...nachoclimb.jpg - Sam |

shoot my w250 with a built by me flatbed clocks in at 6600 never thought those RC's weight that much. keeps those mickey t's planted i imagine.
|
our RC has a LOT of armor, a full steel dash/interior, safari rack...and the doubler is stupid heavy too :o .
The Mickey's are awesome - I'll likely never put any other tire on the RC. They balanced out fantastic, have great highway manners, and off road...with the weight and torque...it's a tank [laugh]. - Sam |
