Yes, 45 psi is ridiculous. When I ran a 16 cm housing (for all of 2 weeks) I found that boost jumped 10 psi at full spray. That's what made me drop the cash for a 14 cm WG housing - I didn't want to blow up my nice new hybrid by running 50+ psi.

I see alot of Snow Performance on here. I personally have one from Devils Own on a turbo car. Has progressive controller with low and high settings, pump, fittings, hose, nozzles, and usespushlock stuff just like air brakes, everything but the tank for about 260.00. They might need to tweak it as its only available up to 3 bar(30 psi of boost pressure).

Weird name good product though. I know the owner was recently deployed to the middle east, so at least they have/had a warrior at the helm...

JimmieD No offence taken. I had someone email me a link to this thread. The other owner bilal Is a navy medic. He is one of the guys who goes out with a platoon of marines. There nickname in the miltary is Devil Doc. That just got turned into our company name. In my opion it was probley not the best name when you consider people and religion. If we where still If we had to do it over again it we would have choosen something more wisely. We have a a few thousand customers so we are alittle late to change things. We are pretty unheard of in the diesel comunity. We do make kits for them. We are very popular with mosty dodge cars, srt4 etc. Thats where people of heard of us.

I thought it best to delete my post as opinions are just that. Thanks to all for serving our country, and under the peculiar circumstances: Sorry to besmirch your reputation! Good to know the rest of the story.

I guess it's just somewhat confusing to me in that so many now embrace 'EVIL' this and 'Wicked' that and I kinda got to scratch my head somethimes and wonder!?! Ha haa, what's wrong with 'Good'? Thanks for clarifying the unknown aspects. Wishing you continued success in your business!

Just stumbled on this snip while reading about the Messerschmitt 109:

"From the summer of 1942 the Messerschmitt 109G powered by a Daimler-Benz producing 1,800 hp with water-methanol injection and giving a speed of 685 km/h (428 mph), entered service in Russia and North Africa before being deployed in every other theater."

Guess we are re-blazing the same trail huh?

Water/meth was used extensively in fighter planes by all sides in WWII. It kicked in when the pilot shoved the throttle to "War Emergency". It was usually sprayed at the center of the first stage supercharger. These engines had two stage centrifugal superchargers, and few of them were intercooled/aftercooled. The purpose of water/meth in these engines was to prevent detonation at high boost levels.

Only the Luftwaffe and one RAF squadron ran nitrous oxide, though.

We have some new selector solenoids. They have 2 valves, one is open, the other is closed. when power is applied to it, they reverse. We got those for the exact reason you are describing.
