I'm thinking of getting W/M ingection kit, but I've heard some issues concering pre-ingnition and head gasket failure. I wanted to get a kit for towing but I don't want the issues I previously stated. Can someone fill me in?

I haven't heard too much problem as long as you keep your mix 50/50 and don't get curious

On a side note, Piers now has a Stage 3 Water/Meth kit. It may be a bit extreme pricewise for what you are doing but the option is there.

hes correct, preignition occurs with to much meth, it lights before the diesel, head gaskets and other parts are prone to failure with preignition, but keep it at 50/50 and enjoy.
