wastegate housing
The wastegate dumps exhaust flow around the turbine wheel to control the speed of the turbocharger's shaft, and thus limit boost. Wastegates allow you to limit boost to prevent blowing the head gasket as well as prevent excessive drive pressures (pressure in the exhaust manifold driving the turbine. There are external wastegates that mount on the exhaust manifold, and internal wastegates built into turbine housings.
Your truck either has the 18.5cm housing or the 21. If it's the 21, I'd ditch it and go with a smaller one.
Available for these trucks are: 12cm WG, 12cm NWG, 14cm WG, 14cm NWG, 16cm NWG, 18.5cm NWG, 21cm NWG

As you go smaller, the spoolup will improve, but they also tend to "choke" earlier. The 16cm or 18.5cm are good all around housings, but they don't have wastegates. If you're going to go with a wastegated housing, get a 12cm, they're available much cheaper than the 14.

93, with the auto, I think you'd be $$ ahead upgrading your compressor housing before messing with the exhaust housing since you have an automatic. You can tune the AFC to spool the turbo reasonably quick. Most folks that go with the 12cmwg are running 5-speeds--we've gotta spool the turbo in every gear, whereas you can just mash it and go
