washers for AFC banjo bolt...

Can I use copper washers to replace my original rubberized AFC banjo bolt washers?

I can't seem to find rubberized washers in the right size in town anywhere. I ordered the proper washers from the local Ford-Chrysler dealership, but got the wrong size washers.

Yes, copper ones were original on most of the older non-intercooled trucks I've worked on. They still had black paint on the edges.

The copper washers are original on my truck. The rubber ones are a newer version of the originals. I see a lot of vehicles that have the copper washers from factory (up to 2010 model years) that are replaced with the rubber ones. The rubber ones are steel with rubber over them.

Yeah, that was what I had. Mine were all shredded though. My brothers were in perfect shape, but I couldn't con him into giving them to me.

These copper washers are located in the Bosch VE seal kit DGK-121.
