Question wait to start and brake light always on

The other day I started my truck in the garage and the wait to start light was lit for a long time. I finally didn't wait any longer and started it anyways. But now when I start it each time it will not go out. I can hear the heater grid working and stopping, and I know when to start it, but anyways, Is there anyone that has had this same problem? I was going to check things out and see if there is any thing loose. Can any one help?

Check wiring at the solenoids that go to heater grids. Check the fusible link wires also at the battery see if they have corrosion and if wires are not burnt. Check for loose connection at the heaters on intake manifold. If that is all good most likely module for heater is bad. Located on firewall near brake booster. Good luck.

Update: I now found out when I turn off the heater fan to off, the wait to start light and brake light goes out. My heater blower fan doesn't work, when I try to use my electric windows (with the heat off) the wait to start and brake light will light, each time I click the window buttons. Electric locks work. Fuse problems? or computer? I'm going to look at fuses and connections.

Bad ground. Check the main body ground on the core support near the battery.

I found a fuseable link that got wore out. It was for the ignition switch, It was number 50 connection on the 50 pin connector block to the cab.

I don't know if this is exactly what happened to my 93, But it sounds almost identical. the only thing that I could find wrong with mine was a bad ground in the fuse box. I fixed the ground and everything was back to normal with the wait to start light, and the blinking when click the window buttons

Probably not the problem But I figured its worth taking a look at

my wait to start light comes on stays on then goes out and blinks from then on. the brake light never goes out and neither does the water in fuel light. No there is no water in the fuel.

Blinky WTS light means that there's a break in the air temp sensor circuit.

Well after what I thought fixed the problem, that link burnt up. There must be a short in my ignition switch somewhere.
