Maybe it's already been recalled/replaced?

The NHTSA shows that the recall applies to your trucks VIN. It doesn't tell you if the recall is still open on your VIN. For that you will have to call a dealer, ask them to run your VIN for any open campaigns. Do not tell them your pump is under a recall. It may or may not be. If the campaign was already performed and closed on your VIN then that's it. If it isn't they should fix it. If they give you a hard time about it then Chrysler has an 800 number that can be called.
EDIT: As I recall there is also specific build dates that apply to this. Just because it has the number and no symbol it doesn't automatically mean it falls under the recall.

There was a Canadian member here that got a free replacement a few years ago. As said above, the VE recall is a safety recall and it never expires, although the dealer may claim that it did. Contact the FTC if they try to weasel out of replacing it. Here is the definitive site to find out:

There is a sticky thread with all of the technical device bulletins affecting our trucks:

Im in the process of seeing if mine will be replaced. I pulled my pump yesterday due to a leak around the head. I looked at the numbers and found they appeared to be in the criteria for a replacment . I talked with our local chrysler dealer this morning and I am waiting to hear back. Mine DOES fall in the replacement criteria. NO infinity mark and my number is 167.
Would be nice if I got a new one.

I talked to two dealers today. I was told I need to contact Chrysler customer care since this part is not stocked any longer. Neither one had done this recall work. I have an email in now. Basically you have to deal with corporate to get it done. The guy said they will probably have to approve a after market pump since this one is no longer available new. I will see what happens.
Any recommended after market rebuilt pump suppliers?

James,
I sent you a PM. Thanks!
I got this BS reply from Dodge:
Thank you for contacting the Dodge Customer Assistance Center.
I certainly understand your concern with having an open recall on your
Dodge Ram and I appreciate you taking the time to contact us.
When it comes to getting recalls of this age completed it does depend on
if the part is still available, to attempt to locate the part you will
need to work with a local FCA dealership, as they are in the best
position to assist.
Also, if you are at all concerned there is an issue with your truck I do
suggest bringing it into an authorized dealership for diagnosis, as they
are factory trained to work on our vehicles.
Thank you again for your email. Should you require additional
assistance, or have any new information to provide, please reply to this
email message or call 1-800-4A-DODGE (1-800-423-6343).
Sincerely,

My email to them:
I contacted a Dealer in Cordele, GA and he said he was not able to get
the part to fix this dangerous recall on my truck. It is my
understanding that this is a safety recall that does not expire. I need
to get this resolved. The part number I found was C3906051. I also
searched mopar parts and could not find it. Surely the part is available
since this is a safety recall. Please advise what I need to do to get
it fixed.
