VE pump rebuilders
Looking for companies that actually rebuild VE pumps, not distributors. I did a search and most of the information is rather old.
My pump has finally reached the point it may leave me stranded somewhere, so time for a rebuild. I could live with a stock overhaul, but would like something better tuned toward towing by someone that has the parts and equipment. I can do the typical basics, but internal mods or special parts are outside of my barnyard expertise.
Tell me who's out there.

There is a place near me here in Ontario called Chatham Fuel Injection. Been in business forever, had them do my pump. Maybe might be a good choice since your US dollar is worth 30% extra in Canada.

Sheid has a good reputation and the core charge makes them most inviting.

And I have a couple of good rebuilders in this area, to me, their reputation will be worth the few extra bucks.

I pulled my VE , and sent it to Metro Fuel In Dallas. They rebuilt it, and shipped it back to me. Good people and good service. That was 3 years ago, and no complaints here. Good Luck

There are many independent diesel shops that rebuild them along with injectors and turbos. I would believe any of the Cummins dealers would be an authorized Bosch rebuilder as well and would rebuild it to factory specs. Some even do mods to them too.

My thoughts are, if I have to ship it out I might as well go for the bells and whistles. Shipping is going to be the same regardless. Cummins NW here in Anchorage either ships them out somewhere or has the local Bosch shop do it. I wish I had a garage, or at least a clean solid surface to work on and be able to block the wind. Health issues aren't helping.

Most Cummins shops don't have rebuild shops in them any more. mother Cummins wants to sell there rebuilds. At one time Cummins NW in Portland Or. had a full shop that did it all crank grinding, rod rebuilding, block and head rebuilding, turbos, fuel systems but they only did the Cummins PT systems. Ken
