ve pump on my bmw

Hi guys,
I've got a 1986 BMW 524 turbo diesel and its got a leaky VE pump. I'm pretty sure its the same as the CTD VE pump. It's leaking like a sieve. It started leaking when ulsd and bio diesel came into the picture but mostly just on start up. Once it got warm it would stop. Well that's not the case anymore. I used to have a post saved that just replaced the seals in the top of the pump without removing the pump itself but I've lost it. If anyone has anything similar I could really use it. Thanks in advance.

There is a how to fix your leaky fuel pump thread in the sticky. It is up on top of the main/first page of the 1st gen section, good luck...Mark

the original bosch kits were dgk121 I think, for our pumps, the last one I sourced was german aftermarket on ebay, and looked identical, I carry it as a traveling backup if needed. sticky probably will source all the info youll need too.
