Upper Control Arms with Doubler Plate
Folks,
Does anybody have pics of the improved upper control arms? I'm looking for a pair and want to make sure I find the best version available. Other posts mention them having doubler plates. What all got doubled or gussetted? Are there any other improvements on the control arms to look for?

Thanks,
Brett

They are not all the same - there are two main versions, the heavier duty one for diesels has the doubler plate on the inside of the aft bushing surface.
Don't use the upper arms without this extra reinforcement, they break at that spot. (ask me how I know)
"Some of the not so visible changes that were made were . 1) reinforcement gussets were welded around the uppet control arm bushings. "

Did the 92-93 3300lbs axle upper control arms get the improvements also? Are they the same as the 4000lbs axle upper control arms? I know the ball joints and bushings are different.
