upper control arm ?

Will a second gen upper control arm fit a first gen? Friend of mine is currently in upper wisconsin, he has a 92, the right side balljoint went out and upon inspection the UPC is paper thin from rust. He replaced the left side upper control arm a couple years ago, it actually came apart from rust. I doubt he will find bone yard a arm in good enough shape to use on a 25 year old truck that far north, I got him the other side from pick and pull here in Tenn when it let go and shipped it to him. I was wondering if the mounting points and ball joint taper, and distance from mounting points to balljoint were the same, I'm guessing that the 2nd gens went to the riveted type ball joint, i know the dakotas and durangos are. The pick and pulls don't keep the trucks around long, the local one isn't showing any dodges older than 94 right now.

Nothing interchanges with a gen2 in the suspension.

new or used. Lots of good parts here in texas. He'd be wise to get a good coat of paint on them.

upper arms are shappy in a way that accumulate 's debris and the rust.
New arms are a tad thicker steel.
