sounds like you are on your way. before we say yes or no to the POD's do you tow at all? i've heard they are very hard to keep egt's in check towing. as far as the turbo is installed take a look at the compressor housings offered a htturbo.com they have both compressor and exhaust housing upgrades. give us a little more of what the truck is used for and people will be able to give better advice.

POD's are the biggest bang for the buck, hands down. You'll have to spend nearly 3 times what you'd spend on POD's to get a set of EDM's that push the same amount of fuel...though they will do so more cleanly Firstly, do you have an intercooled truck, or a non-intercooled truck? I only ask because the factory non-ic injectors are a fair bit bigger than factory ic injectors...I'm presently trying some POD's and, overall, am hard-pressed to justify the purchase, though I am nursing a re-seating clutch, so I haven't taken full advantage of the new fuel just yet

No, the non intercooled injectors have 9 mm tips, they will not fit in the 7 mm bores on the intercooled head.

Yes, you should give it to me immediately.

Seriously, there's nothing "wrong" with the non-intercooled trucks. They are good trucks for both work and play. An intercooler helps keep EGT lower under high boost conditions, so the intercooled trucks have a little advantage when working hard.

I have no problem with EGTs towing a 7500# 5er with PODs. Maybe if you're running heavy auto trailers or hotshot freight, but not with moderate loads.
