i got a H1C on my truck of course, well KB440 has a H1C cold side for a 93 truck that takes the "big" inlet pipe and its brand new, like 4 inch inlet, mines like 2 1/2 or 3, we was comparing trucks today and i was wondering if i put his new cold side on my charger would i recognize a difference in performance. i plan to build a bigger crossover tube, also what size compressor housing do i have, ive read and read but cant seem to figure it out cause they changed year to year. i would like to build a 35 hybrid before too long, or just go with twins when i get enough fuel but this will be a long time.

There is a difference btween the "baby" H1C like you have, and the 91.5 H1C like your looking at. Something with the backing plate.
The "baby" H1C is a 50MM compressor, the later is a 55MM. In short, without the matching compressor wheel, NO you will see no gain with JUST the housing. There will be a cosiderable gap between the wheel and housing, the wheel and housing are very close tolerance so thats why you wont gain anything.

If you had the proper backing plate, and compressor and wheel, it is a great upgrade. The HX-35 and WH1C is better yet at 57MM.

If you go with the Hx35, then upgrade it to the HTT stage 3, its a 35/40 hybrid. Ive got the 35 right now, and will go the to the stage 3 when I intercool my truck.

we got the matching compressor wheel for it. i will probably just stop at Woodruff's friday since i wont be doing anything and they should have a few stock HX35's laying around cause most get replaced with 50's.
