Your intercooled H1C is just about as good as an HX35. I wouldn't waste the money on an HX35, I would go for a bigger turbo.

What are your plans for the truck?

he has a good point. in order to buy a turbo you first have to put your truck in to the category of performance, towing or just a mild upgrade for better cooling when you turn the pump up. i think you can get the hx35/40 setup for your truck fairly cheap.

the truck is my daily driver. it gets about 50 miles a day mostly highway. i do tow with it on weekends occasionally but it will never have to big of a load on her only small trctors and a car now and then. im never gonna go to wild with her id be happy with making 300 350 hp. im still running the stock injectors but im gna be upgrading those fairly soon. what would be a better upgrade given that info

Get a bigger turbo, s300 variant, and be done with it.

you'll just need a 4" downpipe with a hx-40 type flange.

Brian Block told me a Suer HX40 is a fantastic turbo for under 400rwhp. Sure an S300 will be "better" but the 40 will do anything you need it to at those power levels, and costs almost 1/2 of a 62/71/14 S300.

Look into www.peirsdiesel.com and Look at their super HX40.... its a SUPER hx40 60/65/16 that PDR makes better. simple as that.

Here- http://www.pdrdiesel.com/products/PD...s-1086-26.html

That would be great with some decent sized injectors.
