turbo and injectors?

ok so i am currently collecting all the parts so i can just install them all at once but have yet to decided on a turbo/ injector combo. im going to use the truck mainly as a daily driver, so i would like controlable smoke and egts. that being said id like to see close to 400 streetable horsepower.

ive looked at a lot of differant suppliers and brands, but im not well versed in the turbo lingo, so what ive gathered is that a s300 is i fairly versitile turbo, and is good at putting useable power down, what size is recommended for my apllication?

as far as injectors go, ive heard good things about dynomite but i dont really know what size is prefered?

this is what i have collected so far,
airdog 150
kdp
dennyt pin
3200 spring
Afe intake
southbend 13"
ats pulse manifold

Future plans include
firering the head
arp studs
ps intercooler swap
coolertubz

appreciate any help.

I think a lot of guys pushing over 400hp are running 6x16's. I'm not sure how much control over smoke & egt you'll have with those injectors. You might want to think about twins. I'm sure someone with experience with them will chime in.

I think the turbo depends a lot on how much you want to spend. If you want to stay cheap, an HE351CW (stock on 04.5-06 Cummins) is usually available for between $3-400, will support around 400HP, and is some of the newest technology available. It also has a 4" exhaust outlet and spools super fast with the 9cm2 housing. Measurements are 60/60/9.

I'm just repeating what i've been told [director] but I've got one bolted to my engine right now. Should be able to start it up within a week or so

I think bustedwrench is right, twins are going to help you a lot if you're looking for this truck to be a daily driver, as well as 400+ HP. If you're towing, with the amount of fuel you'll need to get that HP figure, I think you're going to have big EGT #'s. Of course, a water/meth kit will help with both EGT's and HP, but you haven't mentioned that.
A big single, that can support your HP figure, is going to take a long time to spool up, so it's going to be not-so-good for daily driving. I woke up this morning thinking on your post, and it seems to me that even though you have almost all the stuff you need for a performance upgrade of a VERY nice magnitude, [guitar] it would be better to do the build slowly. A lot of guys on here put one peice on at a time, because 1; a lot of us can't afford to buy it all at once, and 2; we like to see how each change affects our trucks. Especially as a daily driver, if you did something you don't like, you can change it back quickly and easily.
If you do it all at once, and there's something you want to change or tweak, or if there's a 'bug' in the system, it makes it hard to know where it is. If you take it slowly, one peice at a time, if you get a bug you know exactly what/where it is. Just my $0.02.
Good luck, sounds like you've got a real nice truck on the way! And welcome to the forum! [coffee]

when I had the Ve on my truck I loved my SuperHx40. But somethin like a 62/65/12 would have been alot better if your looking for real Hp numbers

ive been readin up on some stuff i ithink im going to go with ddp 80 horse injectors and 62/71/14.

What do ya think?

That would be a good one also, with a little bigger housing and inducer will help out on egt, but may lag a tad bit but if ur dumpin enough fuel you wont have to worry bout that.
