tunnel ram intake, worth it or not?

Just ordered my cooler tubz and have been trying to decide if the tunnel ram intake plates are worth the money. Has anyone tried one on a 1st gen? Claims to help lower egts and more evenly distribute boost to the cylinders. The theory works for me but the pictures are hard to tell exactly what's different on them. I'm trying to free up as much of my intake as i can.

When I was researching it I couldn't find any square bodies running one. The gains on the pee pump trucks were notable.

So more or less I have nothing of use to tell you other than be the Ginny pig.

Ha, I'll see what I can do. Got a $100.00 gift card to spend so it won't be as bad!

I have one on my 1993 W250, not sure if it helped any since i did other mods at the same time (injectors, compressor upgrade). It looks cool though.

I can do 400, but i am doing cooler tubz now and was wondering if that really offered any benefit. Looks like the p pump and 24v guys claim that it flows much better. Supposedly better than a non ported head can flow.

I found the same responce. The consensus was that it didn't hurt any, and bling factor went up a butt load. The question I asked myself was the 300$ish could be put into what other part that can improve these engines? I decided to put the money into the head its self.

Please don't get me wrong he builds awsome products that look and perform great. I don't want to make it sound like his stuff isn't worth the price. Writting in black and white is hard to get what another man is saying, so I did the best I could.

Well unfortunately i just put my head back on shortly before my pump gave up the ghost. That brought about several performance upgrade. Should have had the head ported when it was off but was happy with the power number it was at. Now i don't want to pull the head again right now.

He's got them on sale for 245.00 right now and i got a $100.00 gift card to a performance place. Trying to decide what i want to spend it on since I've already knocked out all the big stuff. It's either put it towards that or a water meth setup.

Ive got one on mine. It seemed to slightly reduce low end smoke and gain a tiny bit of power, not much but it wasn't a down grade.
