You need the 2nd gen engine adapter and starter. The flex plate will work but the 2nd gen has a reinforcement plate at the crank. I would highly recommend this as the lock up converter puts added stress on the plate.

I have run 33's on dozens of old W-150, W-250 and Ramchargers over the past 20 years.
I had 315/75R16 on my W-350 crew cab 12 years ago, when it was dead stock suspension wise which is basically almost a 35 inch tire.
There was very little rub when turning and hitting a bump at the same time.

Will a factory 47RH handle my power levels or will i have to beef it up? Currently with the current wheel setup I've got about 3-4" of clearance on the inner wheel well 285's might work in there but ill have to check it out.

Oh for the Speedo does it have the same setup as the 46RH? As in the adapter to the sensor?

The speedo screws into the T-case on a 4x4, and as you will be using the same T-case. There will be no problems with getting the speedo to work.

I was actually able to slot the carrier bearing mount plate on mine and had enough slip yoke to make it work. I did get the shaft shortened later when I had it balanced and replaced the carrier bearing and joints.

I think the 4X4 has room also so that you don't have to redrill the crossmember mounting.

Good info AJ.
I have never done that swap, but just looking at a 47 RH and an A-518 next to each other on the shop floor I was guessing the driveshaft length would be really close.

The extra length comes from the engine adapter. It's 1.125 deeper to accommodate the lock up converter.
