trans mount

i went to the local parts store to buy a new trans mount. what they had listed for my truck looks nothing like what i have. does anyone have a pick of a newer mount?

Don't know of any newer mounts that would bolt in... What is wrong with yours if I may ask!!

mine are shot! i bet they are originals. when i say "newer" i mean a mount that was bought at a parts store not from the factory. my mounts, or whats left of them. look like two identical doughnut top and bottom. the parts store had one large one which was a metal ring with rubber on the inside and the other was a thin all rubber mount.

I think your factory ones are just that distorted or someone other than your replaced them with the wrong ones. what you described is what my local napa had also. The bottom mount is thicker with a metal bushing in the center. the top is thinner.

Here is a link to what I replaced on mine.. From your post I thought you were talking about the whole darn crossmember!! I just bought the anchor ones... This should get you fixed up..

thanks for the pics. that is what the parts store has but my truck has something slightly different. i want worry about it a whole lot.
