Trans line temp sensor
Trans line temp sensor
Anyone happen to know a NAPA part #, for the A518 trans line temp sensor? (The sensor on the trans line, on the drivers side of the trans - which has a two wire plug that attaches to the sensor).
I went to the local NAPA today, to get a replacement, and the guy behind the counter didn't have a clue
I looked on their new web page (which stinks to navigate) and couldn't find a part listing. They seem to use Belkamp.
Thanks!!!

That thing is only a temperature-sensitive switch that disables OD. If you're looking for the characteristics of the thing so you can replace it with a real sensor to drive a gage, it's a 1/2" MPT.

I found this on Advanced Auto web site.
Niehoff Ignition Transmission Oil Temperature Switch
Part Number: MC87111
I'm not sure if this is what you need but check out there site there is a couple of different ones.

Thanks all for the input!
Ryan and Matt; I agree that the Autozone/Advanced auto's site is way easier to navigate than the NAPA site. The old NAPA web site; which they just changed, was fairly easy to use. Forget the new one! Ryan; I made a note of the Neighoff part #, thanks!
