trans cooler question

Looking at the trans cooler lines on my truck, they appear to be 1/2" lines. Is that correct? If so, do I need to get a trans cooler with 1/2" tubes in it or can I use a plate style with just 1/2" connectors.
TIA
Leper

both the BM racing and Derale brands of cooler fan and plate/fin tranny coolers have accomodations for 1/2" piping. In fact, in the JCWhitney catalog, it mentions for Cummins use 1/2" model ????? for both oil and transmission cooling. I did not have the model numbers. They carry Derale for these.
