tranny mounts

Anybody know a good source for aftermarket tranny/t-case mounts? Now that I have everything back together, I've got a pretty good vibration at idle when the weight is transferred downhill. For example, If I have to stop at an uphill stop sign and the weight of the truck rests back on the brakes, I get quite a rumble. If I pull the shifter to the left, it goes away completely. The stock rubber mounts are shot, as well as the bushings, so I'm thinking that's the problem. All else looks well--ie no loose bolts or exhaust hitting things. Thanks for any input!

dont buy them from the dealership

I found a company that makes them and they are just as good if not the same as dodge itself for about 30 bucks compared to 80 bucks.I know I saved the box and I will get back to you in the am .Your 89 is a great vintage I think they also made them in 88 I have a 90 and love it.I also have a 93 which is a great truck and a 97 that is starting to grow on me.

Thanks, RedD--I'd appreciate any info you have. I have a real soft spot for the pre '91.5 grille and, of course, the ram hood ornament I believe '89 was the first year of the cummins powered dodge and the last year of the factory ram hood ornament---the perfect truck to me

Thanks for the effort RedD! As it turns out, my parts truck (86 w150) had the same mounts, only in much better shape. I installed them and the problem has all but dissapeared. It's a good temp fix, but I look forward to your reply so I can replace the new/old mounts with something more substantial.

Nope, no getrag kidding around here--must've been someone else

I've got a love-hate relationship with New York, but this is where family is, so that's where I am for now. Would like to head back out west somday....
