TPS failed again

It seems that the TPS fails about every 3,000 miles. I have been carrying a replacement with me everywhere I go now. But why? Is it inferior replacement parts? or the engine?

A stock 1993 12-valve with 274,000 miles on it. I have been using Standard TH245 replacement part. Anyone else experiencing this issue?

Thanks

Type TPS delete in the search bar , there are quite a few articles on it using a Potentiometer to delete the tps, they work pretty good.
