Figure the math.
What is the radius of your timing mark from the center of the shaft?
PI R square. No Cornbread square, pie round.
Distance around divided by 360. 1/8 = .125.
A SWAG, but I'd say close to 1°.

I was going to say it depends on the internals of your pump. I've had a few trucks that the standard 1/8" on the pump flange took me from ~1.4mm to 2.0mm. Others have moved from 1.25mm to 1.5-ish with 1/8". Like IRoss said, a gauge is not expensive, and worth it to know EXACTLY where you are.

I did a 3/16" bump, by ear, and it wound up being around 2.1mm, so backed it off to 1.8mm and found much better lower end pickup...I beleive it is around 1 degree per mm....

definitely worth it having the gauge. I sure do miss the dynamic timing of the VE, but I can't whine about my new pump

The question of degrees of timing on the VE's has been asked online on various sites many, many times with no real good answer. I believe it is not possible at this point to determine a degree of timing with the VE like you see for the inline pumps. It is because the VE is in a constant variable state of timing depending on case pressure etc.
