Timing

So I have what may be a dumb question. Can you advance the timing manually on a vp44 by turning it forward a tooth. Now I know it's timed electronically but I'm a big truck guy and on the big cats this can be done and it makes a huge difference in power.

This is the 1st Gen section so we don't run the VP44....we run the OG of the 12V injection pumps the VE unit that is all mechanical with no electronics involved to mess it up. Might want to try the 94-02 - 2nd Gen section for more relevant answers to your question.
