Timing
Is there such a thing as too much timing on one of these trucks?
I put new injectors in and the truck became real quiet and started lots of white smoke when cold. (dynamite diesel stage 2) Runs really good though. I did the 1/8 bump and have less white smoke but it still seems real quiet. I have read here in the past some say push the pump all the way to the head. My question is will that hurt anything? |
Im not an expert on this, but I have been told numerous times over the years here that FIRST GET A PYRO!!
Then push the pump to the head! as long as your EGTS stay good, you wont hurt anything.. |
yes too much timeing is bad.. I bumped a tooth and put pump to head and i lost 15 psi boost and truck ran like crap...then turned pump down toward frame and ran alot better..

All the way to the head would be appropriate with those injectors.
