Timing

Is there such a thing as too much timing on one of these trucks?
I put new injectors in and the truck became real quiet and started lots of white smoke when cold. (dynamite diesel stage 2)
Runs really good though.
I did the 1/8 bump and have less white smoke but it still seems real quiet.
I have read here in the past some say push the pump all the way to the head.
My question is will that hurt anything?

Im not an expert on this, but I have been told numerous times over the years here that FIRST GET A PYRO!!
Then push the pump to the head! as long as your EGTS stay good, you wont hurt anything..

yes too much timeing is bad.. I bumped a tooth and put pump to head and i lost 15 psi boost and truck ran like crap...then turned pump down toward frame and ran alot better..

All the way to the head would be appropriate with those injectors.
