time for pull cable?

It was 8 degrees here about 4 days ago I started my truck to pull it into the garage. when i shut it off it would not kill the motor & was idling about half of what should have been with key in off position I had to use manual lever to kill the engine could the fuel solenoid have been sticking because of cold temp after warmed up has not done this again

When it got cold around here mine took about 3-4 seconds to shut off. Think it just being cold out makes it a little sticky. Been working fine ever since.

turn the full load down a 1/4 turn or a little more. should shut off better. had the same thing happen when i put the 366 spring in. turned it down a small bit and it shuts off quick. mine would run at half throttle to.

Time for a universal manual choke cable...hook it up to the manual fuel cut off lever on the pump. Worked well for me on my 92, and was cheap to boot. Just be careful if/when you do it. The lever has springs behind it and they'll let loose when you take it off. I think I looked for one of the springs for an hour.
