Throttle Shaft O-Ring

Does anyone have a part number or size for the O-ring that seals the throttle shaft for the pump. Mine started leaking after my 366 spring debacle this weekend.

Just changed mine a few weeks ago when i put my 4200 spring in, it had been leakin for about 2 years since i took my afc lever out and I never got around to fixing it. I had a pump reseal kit layin around so I took the o-ring off and found another one the same size and put it on and it sealed it right up. I would just get one of those O-ring kits that you can get at harbor freight or summit and take it out and find one the same size and put a new one in, I'm sure that'd work fine.

I believe in this exploded diagram it's #66. Hard to tell but the parts list that follows says "o-ring." If it's right, the bosch part number is 1 460 210 008. Might call a fuel injection shop that is familiar with the pump and verify with them. If you want just the o-ring, they might give it to you for nothing. Otherwise you can buy the reseal kit for under $20 and find an o-ring in there that matches the one that comes out.

Just go to the local pump shop and ask for an o-ring for a ve pump throttle shaft. They guy will likely walk into the back and pull one out of his pile of them (ve pumps are on many, many industrial applications), hand it to you and say good day sir.

Like already suggested, get yourself BOTH larger sets of the Harbor Freight nitrile O-rings, METRIC and SAE.

I have direct-matched several VE O-rings straight from my H-F Metric kit with good lasting results.

Both H-F sets will probably cost less than a single specific O-ring from a pump shop.

Found it here for $2.17 and since I was already getting some other parts shipping wasn't an issue:
