Thanks DTR! My truck RULES now!
Well I had some brake issues on the old girl over the weekend so had to put in a new master cylinder. Since I had the hood up and was staring at the injector pump I figured I would finally strap on a set of edits and tweak it a little.
Being a newbie to diesels I was a little intimidated by the whole thing but afterwards I couldn't believe I didn't do it sooner! Once I had it apart I figured I'd wipe the dust off the 'ole die grinder and go to town on the fuel pin since I had it out. The thing drives like a whole new truck now. AWESOME! I went in 3 turns on the smoke screw, 3/4 turn on the star wheel, and 2 turns on the power screw. Having no real baseline or guidelines I figured I would keep it a little conservative 'til I get my pyro and boost gauges installed. The whole thing only took me about 2 hours start to finish and holy crap what a big difference! I had to change my underwear when I test drove it for the first time.
I can step on the throttle now and the truck actually goes and not fall flat on it's face for a couple seconds. Good times!
The nice thing about it too is I haven't noticed any dramatic loss in fuel mileage so far but it's early still.
And the sound... music to my ears! With the straight pipe and BHAF the turbo just whales now. Next up, install the gauges, 3200 GSK, and maybe some injectors in the near future. Probably gonna be sweepin' the slush-o-matic off the driveway soon though
Thanks for the sticky's and pictures for helping me out guys. I officially have the "bug" now.

gutter may i suggest goin with glowshift gauges there cheap and they work great....www.glowshift.com
Thanks for the link bro, but I've always been an Autometer fan. Plain old Sport Comps for me
Plus I get 'em at wholesale through work (I'm actually a parts guy for now) so I'm paying just a fraction more for the A/M gauges.
Looks like I gots' me a weekend project
