Temporay means temporary
I made a repair to my hub that I wiped out a few months ago. The bearings ran dry on the driverside and locked up. The inner bearing spun the cup in the hub opening the fit to a very loose clearance. I filled the gap with epoxy and it held up until I started doing doughnuts in my field. Have you ever seen a sixty two year old kid drifting a dually? Hubs aren't easy to find and one was sent to me by one of the top notch members in DTR. He knows who he is and I am very thankful for it. Now my plans are to try and do a weld/machine repair on the damamged hub and hopefully I can repay the favor to another needy individual.
All I need is a new bearing to get the fit right and a steady rest for my old Atlas Lathe.

A friend spun a bearing on his right-rear hub, 1993 DRW W-350, way back when the truck was almost new.
He was a long way from home and some mechanic guy wherever he was stranded found a hub/drum on an early Dana-60 that fit like a glove.
That odd-ball hub has outlasted the original by many years.
It stands out like a sore thumb, but it works.
Ever since the original hub first went bad, he has un-successfully been searching for the correct replacement.
