Tailgates and bumpers
Just wondering if anyone knows if they make aftermarket tailgates or bumpers for these truck. I have scoured the junkyards around my area, and I cannot find any trucks to save my life. Not even a D/W 150. All I need/want is a tailgate and a rear bumper. They were missing since I acquired the truck.
Also, does anyone know if they sell roof "skins" to fix the rusty roof problems?

tailgaite is going to be the one piece with "DODGE RAM" stamped in the sheet metal in it, i think. not sure about the roof skin. also you have a pm.

Dido on the original MOPAR tailgate.I bought a replacement from JC whats there face and folded it in the middle by just jumping up to sit on it!!IM only 210 lbs. and I needed to cut and grind to get it to fit with the factory hardwear! its junk stuff!!

I just recentlely bought a new roof skin from Chrysler for my truck,
I got the one without the cargo light cut-out.
I never did like that cargo light anyway,so i deleted it.
It was just another way for water to leak in.
New bumpers should still be available from Chrysler, as I recall, the price for the
bumper wasn't that bad at the time.

I lucked out and found a tailgate,on ebay,that was in great shape,for kess than a hundred bucks includeing shiping. No rust,and one small ding along the top edge. Like every one else said,stay away from the aftermarket stuff,not worth draging home. It's to bad your so far away,I have the factory step bumper,from my 93,it's in decent shape,and would make a good replacement. I took it off and put my dmi bumper on. keep watching ebay,it might take awhile,to find what you need,it took me six months,to find my tailgate.

Well, i found the pot of gold. These people have everything for these trucks.

They have the roof sections,drip rails, tail gates with/without the dodge imprint and it's supposed to all be n.o.s. It sort of sounds to good to be true for me, but who knows.... I'm gonna order the roof section though and see what this stuff looks like before i send them alot of money for different stuff.
