What years of tailgates will fit my truck? It seems telephone poles and tailgates don't like one another. Thanks

so you know, a tailgate that came factory with a trim panel is very different from a tailgate that didn't have a trim panel. The one with the trim panel is smooth behind it but has huge holes for the panel mounts to go through and a Non panel tailgate just says "Dodge Ram"

 

I like the ones that say Dodge Ram. I might be looking for one soon. Had a hinge rot out. Not the original gate.
